Today is the start of our new Spring term!
Next week you will have a new teacher which is very exciting.

You are all continuing with your lessons and doing a great job. Our main focus for most of us right now is making sure that we use each finger when we play our songs. It's difficult at first, but with practice, your fingers will get stronger. Make sure to have both your thumbs on middle C.

We learned about intervals in class today. First we distinguish whether it is a harmonic or melodic interval. Then we count the distance between the notes including all the lines and spaces, as well as both notes. ex Harmonic 6th, Melodic 3rd.
