BLT Wk 6

Level 1
You learned about the bass clef in lesson 1-7 (Thoery Thinker) We are now focusing on the left hand notes on the staff.

Level 2
You learned about accidentals (the black keys) today in lesson 1-2 (Theory Thinker)

Level 1 and Level 2

Today I tested your knowledge on the notes on the keyboard. You reviewed these as well as listened to a lesson in Children's Music Journey. This is to help you understand the connection in musical alphabet from the notes on the staff to the notes on the keyboard. This is a KEY component which I feel needs to be stressed until understood. Please play the following games below for practice.

Great playing today

Level 1
Today you learned about the bass clef notes on the staff- Theory Thinker 1-7. Reading the bass clef is different than the treble clef so you had some new memorizing to do. You played the key quest game, as well as many left hand exercises to help strengthen your hand. The notes on the bass clef staff are: lines- "G-B-D-F-A" and the spaces- "A-C-E-G"
