Great work!
Term 1 student :
Emma
You finished lesson 6 with Mr Bach on holding notes!

Term 2 students:
You all finished Lesson 9 today. Great job playing notes higher and higher as well as notes lower and lower.

During circle time today reviewed the treble clef in which we play high notes and the bass clef where we play low notes. We played a board game on the musical staff where the first one to the top wins! I brought my harmonica and played notes going higher or lower which you had to identify. I also read you a couple stories about your teachers. Do you remember what instruments Mr. Bach played his compositions on? (organ and harpsichord)
Class ended with rhythm time and everyone got a chance with the wood block.

See you next week!

Lots of practice at home needs to be done. We need to know our notes so that learning new songs will become easier.

Here are your games to practice for the week. Please play these more that once before our next lesson. Remember that notes on the staff are like a ladder, just like the alphabet except that after G comes A (and it starts all over)
