We started our lesson reviewing the C+ major scale. Remember to tuck your thumb under on "F". The fingering goes: 1 2 3 1 2 3 4 5.
In today's class we went into "Theory Thinker1-3 - The bass or F clef " viii -Things to practice. Most of you got through almost all of the exercises with the left hand. Great work!

Our new lesson for the week was 2-1 Musical rests. If you have the program at home, it wouldn't hurt to go over these three short lessons again and practice the exercise at the end.

• Mary Had a Little Lamb L.H
• Mary Had a Little Lamb BOTH HANDS

"Mary Had a Little Lamb" with both hands may have been a bit of a challenge but with practice you will all get the hang of it. A couple students got to start "Twinkle Twinkle" and we will be learning this next week as well as some other new songs in Level 1.
