We spent the start of class reviewing for our assessment test which is coming up in our 10th lesson. Next week I will hand out our practice written tests and you will be practicing your songs.
Here is what we did:
- C major scale ascending and descending
- Play backs
- Review notes and values
- Review rests and values
- Review intervals *remember to count the lines and spaces!*
- Using the treble "G" clef and bass "F" clef and landmark notes to find other notes.
(this can be easier sometimes than remembering all of our phrases)

You reviewed scales: G + and C pentatonic
Today you learned the F scale and F Pentatonic. Great work.
I gave you work sheets where you learned about roman numerals and practiced adding note values. Josh you learned something new about dotted notes.
Unfortunately, your computer was not working for the end of class and you were not able to practice your songs! I am sorry that this happened.
You two are learning so quickly! I am very impressed.
