LEVEL 1
Today was assessment day. You wrote your written part to your 10 Lesson period for Level 1. Next week I am listening to your 2 pieces before we go on to Level 2.


TO PRACTICE AT HOME
I am assigning you to all practice for at least 10 minutes this week. You should be going over the 2 songs that you are going to play for me to assure that you will receive at least 80%. You scales are going great: C+ ascending, C+ descending and C+ contrary motion (both hands)

NEW LEVEL 1 STUDENTS
You're all doing great! You have now been taught note values, the grand staff, the treble clef and the bass clef. Songs you have done so far are from your lessons are: Topic 05 Page 03 Exercise 01 "Frere Jacques"T. 05 P. 05 Ex. 01 "When the Saints" You also complete "things to practice exercises for the right and left hand. Way to go!
