Brogan and Erin
Congrats Everyone! You have finished level 12 which means you are now going on to Term 1B! You will be receiving certificates soon!
Erin and Brogan you finished level 13 with Mr. Joplin learning about the musical alphabet.
Conn and Callum you finished Level 12 with Mr. Joplin. Great work using your correct fingers and keeping your hands nicely curved on the keyboard.
CMJ TO PRACTICE AT HOME
If you have a keyboard at home I would you to practice starting on middle C and going higher and higher, or lower and lower. Try playing different patterns with your thumb on C using all 5 fingers.
Piano Suite
Will have almost completed your Level 1 assessment so that you may go on to Level 2! You have one more song to play for me this week and then you will receive your certificate. Great work on your written exam.
Miranda and Sydney
You kept trucking through Lessons in Level 1. Our focus this week was note values. The two songs you played in class were: Topic 05 Page 03 Exercise 01 "Frere Jacques"
T. 05 P. 05 Ex. 01 "When the Saints" You're off to a great start!
