Mount Edward Elementary 3-6 Wk 3

I am very proud of how comfortable we are becoming on the piano in just 3 lessons.

We finished learning and reviewing note values this week. There are a list of exercises in "xix1-2 Bar lines and note values-xix Things to Practice. Topic 6 Page 19 Ex 1-11" Most of you got through all of these which is fantastic. To end class we played "Key Quest" finding the notes on the keyboard in all octaves as well as the "Spelling the notes on the keyboard" game in which you find letters on the keyboard which spell a word.
Time spent today on exercises and note names was well worth it! You are all doing very well.

We are all now at the same point in our lessons and next week we are learning more about the notes on the staff as well as the bass or "F" clef.
